I break machines and write down how the chain actually went — including the parts that didn't work.
Background
How I got here
Started on the support desk at an open source service provider. Tickets, users, whatever broke that morning. It's the fastest way I know to learn how systems actually fail, as opposed to how the docs say they work.
From there into infrastructure projects — servers, networks, the plumbing underneath. Security was running in the background the whole time: TryHackMe first, then Hack The Box, then boxes at two in the morning because I wanted to know how the thing I'd just built would get taken apart.
That's still the job. Web, Active Directory, Linux and Windows post-exploitation. The files here are the evidence — each one a full path from first packet to root, written so you can follow the reasoning instead of copying the commands.
The method sits on top. A writeup says "here's what I did on this box". The method says "here's how you decide what to do on any box" — and every step links back to the file where it was used for real.
